Interactive Horror Experience

Interactive Horror Experience (short: IHE) is a playable Demo for a retro-style horror puzzle game developed during my masters studies.

My role in our three-person team was that of project manager, puzzle designer and audio engineer. My responsibilities as project manager included:

  • Managing tasks, workloads, and issues of the team
  • Setting up and administrating JIRA for dynamic and agile project management
  • Setting up a full project documentation using Confluence and keeping it up-to-date
  • Direct progress reports, including milestone presentations
  • Coordination of structured testing and feedbacking using extrenal testers

My other work involved:

  • Developing complex puzzles involving non-euclidian room structures
  • Testing said puzzles with internal and external testers, as well as implementing feedback
  • Composition and implementation of atmospheric audio and SFX in Unreal Engine 5
